We take so much for granted

March 18th, 2019

I hope everyone is doing so well!

This week I had a really special experience with one of our people with interest. She is from Venezuela. I don't know if you guys know what is going on there but basically it is in horrible condition and everyone is fleeing the country. So basically all of the people that I am teaching here are Venezolanos. They are such amazing people! One of them named Rubi told us her story and her struggles of everything she has had to go through. It has really just changed me so much and the way that I think now. We truly just take so many things for granted. Whenever you want to complain about something think of the people that don't have the little things.

Also last pday we went fishing with bamboo and I caught 2 little baby fish.. it also started pouring like crazy!

I love you all so much! Have a great week!

Momma Roe again :-)

February 18th, 2019

Hello hello all!!

I passed my 9 month mark..... she came a bit late, but it's a girl!

I hope everyone is doing well!
We had changes this week! I am staying here in Huarupampa, Huaraz and I got called to be a Mom again! My daughter's name is Hermana Tello, and she is the best!

This week was a bit crazy with changes and all, but we are here, ALIVE, and doing good!
Some updates on a couple of awesome people....
Hermana Damne: Damne,  went to visit family in Lima for the month of February, but she is doing soo goood! She is reading the Book of Mormon everyday and studying the Come Follow Me book and going to church every Sunday! She even calls us if she has questions! Woohoo! I cant wait to see her after February! She is sooo ready to make this promise with the Lord!

Hermana Tatiana: She came to church for the first time this week and loved it. She is catholic and she has such big faith. She decided to come to church and we ended up needing to teach the gospel principles class. We taught about faith in Jesus Christ and nearing the end of the lesson, I asked if anyone had any comments or feelings that they wanted to share and Hermana Tatiana started to talk explaining that it was her first time at the church and it was so different from what she had expected. She said that she felt something in our church that she didn't feel in the catholic and mentioned that she belongs to the catholic church but then expressed that she feels that this church is true and that she would like to belong to this church. She said that she is going to pray about it and talk to her parents because she only is 15 years old and so she has to ask her parents. Wow! That was a huge answer to prayer because we had planned to invite her with a date for baptism, but we were a little unsure, because she was pretty firm with her baptism in the catholic church. But now we know that she is ready and knows that this is true. Going to church is so powerful. We can receive so many answers and truly feel the spirit. We are planning on inviting her this week! Now we just have to pray that her parents will give her permission to make that promise with the Lord!

This week has been an adventure full of miracles! I love you all and hope that you are having your own adventures! Take care! Happy Valentines day!! Share your love with all those around you! and the invitation for this week is to pray to be filled with the love of Christ! Love you all! talk to you later!
